Our events are not conferences. They are sanctuaries. Intentional gatherings designed to restore, celebrate, and deepen the work happening in our programs year-round.
Our flagship annual healing event is a full-day sanctuary experience for Black, Brown, and Indigenous women. Built on programming we have been facilitating since before our incorporation, the Restoration Room is not a workshop or a conference. It is a gathering where rest, creative practice, communal nourishment, breathwork, somatic healing, sound, art, and sisterhood are the curriculum.
Participants move through healing stations at their own pace. There are no panels. No pitch sessions. No networking pressure. There is music. There is food. There is a room full of women who are allowed, for one full day, to put everything else down.
A gentler, age-appropriate healing experience for girls running concurrently with the full Restoration Room. Breathwork, art, movement, guided journaling, and play — designed with clinical and developmental input from trauma-informed practitioners who specialize in adolescent girls of color. Girls are held, not rushed. Parental consent required.
An annual community art exhibition where program participants share their creative healing work publicly. Visual art, writing, mixed media, and performance. A celebration of what becomes possible when Black girls and women are given room, resources, and an audience.
We bring Black, Brown, and Indigenous authors into direct conversation with our community. Q&As, writing workshops, book signings, and honest dialogue about the craft and courage of storytelling while holding a marginalized identity.
Our annual leadership and healing gathering for women across all programs and communities. Three days of learning, rest, creative practice, sisterhood, and vision work. The room where the full ecosystem comes together.
